Teaching is to help students to construct knowledge creatively about their self and world/society, by doing so they and reconstruct themselves through learning relevance knowledge and skills for the reconstruction of the society. Teaching is not an act of giving or transferring knowledge but an act of tranforming and opening mind to build the world. |

Learning is always an act of construction, individually and socially. Thus, it is constructivist in perspective. Learning has to do with writing your own history by enhancing intelligences and talents. Learning is the most noble and distinguished human ability. Child is an integrated unique person, capable of meaning maker, and potential actor in the history. Child has its own dynamic on their growth. Thus, education should care about kids phases of development and should be treated as an individual who are in their stage of grow. Knowledge is socially constructed, culturally mediated, and historically situated out of social interaction for social, political, economic and cultural purposes. Knowledge is always in the process of scrutiny, to be criticized and evaluate. Thus, constructing knowledge is the dynamic of human learning. There is no final conclusion for every knowledge. |

The purpose of schooling is to develop the intellectual dimension of the students in a way that through this knowledge they could understand and perceived better who they are and their society so that the students might participate to reconstruct it actively. Experience method, by exposure, live in, or direct observation in a real social living, so that students could make proper actions to improve and participate in the life of the society. Every new knowledge comes from the experience on dealing with the realities. Thus, instructional learning should be contextualized based of fact and experience. |
| About Diverse Learner | |

An authentic learning accommodates diverse learners. Individual has variuous ways to learn. Promoting authentic learning assumes that the way individual learn is respected. The style of learning is pluriform. Schools should promote the authentic and effective learning by giving spaces to diffentiated learning. |
| About Evaluation | |
|
Evaluating student's performance means assessing his or her individual progress on authentic learning. Evaluation is aimed to help student improve learning thus made them more capable, not to paralyze them.
