“Donetsk regional youth organization “Euroclub”
(DRYO “Euroclub”) – hereafter called “Organization” – is a local youth non-governmental
organization, founded upon the principles of good will, legality and
publicity, humanity, self-governance, common interests and equality of rights
of its members.” – Euroclub Charter, art. 1.1. 16 September 2003 – a student scinetific group “European Studies Workshop”
is created at the Department of Foreign Economic Activity Management of the
Donetsk State Academy of Management (since March 2004 – renamed to
University), with the assistance from the Donetsk Chapter of Central European
Univeristy Alumni and Friends Association 1 November 2003 – the first ESW meeting in the
inter-institutional format takes place at DonDAU, which was attended by
representatives of the biggest institutions of higher education in Donetsk –
Donetsk National University, Donetsk State Technical University and DonDAU
itself. 7 April 2004 – General assembly of the Donetsk Regional Youth
Organization “Euroclub” (ratification of the Charter, elections of the first
4 members of the Board, Revision Commission) 21 April 2004 – DRYO “Euroclub” receives the certificate of registration ¹
795 24 April 2004 – DRYO “Euroclub” hosts representatives of the
European Commission and the Embassy of Netherlands during their information
tour “European Spring” Founders The official founders of DRYO “Euroclub” are: Sergiy
Shtukarin, CEU alumnus, lecturer at the Department of Foreign Economic
Activity Management, DonDAU studets Ruslan Chernenko, Vladislav Anin and
Alexij Pinchuk. However, there are also a number of people, who assisted in
the creation of this organization on the basis of the “European Studies
Workshop” at DonDAU. Firstly, this is Department Chairperson, doctor of
economic sciences, professor Ludmila Batchenko, Deputy Department Chairperson,
candidate of economic sciences, docent, Elena Tkachenko, department faculty Erum
Siddiqui, Ludmila Chorna, Larysa Kuleshova, Iryna Chernina, Galina Drozdova,
Tatyana Semenova, Valentina Dyatlova, Svetlana Olejnikova. Secondly, the creation of Euroclub could be
impossible without a personal involvement and facilitation on behalf of
Rector of DonDAU, doctor of economic sciences, professor Stanislav Povazhnyj,
Prorector on External Relations Anatolyj Omeljanchuk, Head of Legal Department
Borys Saenko, other DonDAU faculty. Thirdly, a great effort was made by graduates of
foreign programs on European Studies, who were members of the Donetsk Chapter
of CEU Alumni and Friends Association – Ivan Lubinets, Denys Frolov, Kateryna
Novikova. Also the staff and especially the director of the Donetsk city
organization “Alliance” Svetlana Zakrevska proved to be reliable partners and

(pdf, 203 Kb). Euroclub is a non-for-profit organization, which
builds its activity according to the Constitution of Ukraine, the Laws of
Ukraine “On the Citizens’ Associations”, “On the children and youth
organizations”, active legislation of Ukraine and its Charter. According to the Charter, Euroclub has all the
features of a legal person from the moment of its state registration, has its
own balance, bank accounts, round seal, letterheads with its name, logo and
other features, adopted by the Board and registered according to legal
procedures. Euroclub has a right to conclude contracts, obtain property
and individual non-property rights, bear responsibility, be a party in the
courtroom. Euroclub carries out accounting and reports according

office 204. The aim of creation and activity of the Donetsk Regional
Youth Organization “Euroclub” (DRYO “Euroclub”) is execution of activity
towards satisfaction and protection of its lawful social, economic, creative
and other common interests, assistance in activization of learning, creative
and organizational capabilities of youth in order to disseminate among the
wider public the common European values, deepen the knowledge about the
European Union and the place of European countries in the world civilization,
as well as the popularization of idea of European and Euro-Atlantic
integration. Tasks of DRYO “Euroclub” are: -
assistance in development of student initiative,
directed towards the fastening of the democratic and market transformation
and sustainable development of Ukrainian society, which by its own example
contributes to bringinig up of youth in the spirit of common European values -
assistance in development and implementation of
youth projects, which create preconditions for deepening and widening of
relations with the European Union, other international organizations -
assistanice in dissemination of unbiased
inforamtion about the European Union and the place of Ukraine in the world
processes, as well as dissemination of information about Ukraine, its
history, culture, problems and achievements The longterm mission of Euroclub is to become a
trusted source of unbiased information about the European Union, thinktank of
the pro-European youth movement of the Eastern Ukraine, a workshop, where the
future eurocrates – experienced professionals in the sphere of European
integration for the public administration and local self-governance, as well
as managers for the sphere of business – will be produced. |
