| In
what ways do you think you can make a contribution to our company? |
| As a new graduate
with a degree in Information Systems Technology, I can offer your
organization the most current skill set available, as well as a fresh
and eager perspective to the business and technological processes
of your company. I am also a well-rounded individual and can manage
a variety of tasks from application development, to graphic design,
to project management. |

| What
are your long-term career objectives? |
| The Information
Systems Technology curriculum has provided me with a high level of
competency in the area of database administration. However, I would
ultimately like to be part of your firm's graphic/web development
team. I feel I am well-rounded and should be considered for a position
in management, but at this point in time, my skills indicate I could
be of more assistance in the technical facet of the business. |

| Do
you have plans for continued study? An advanced degree? |
| Currently, I
am considering three options: 1) a Masters degree in Business
Administration, 2) a Master's Degree in Information Systems Security,
or 3) getting Microsoft Certified in Systems Development. I may even
get a teaching certificate so that I might be able to pass this knowledge
on. Ultimately, realize that a career in information technology implicitly
entails a commitment to lifelong learning, a commitment which I intend
to honor. |

| What
two or three things are most important to you in your job? |
| Ultimately,
my objective is to become part of an organization in which I'll be
surrounded by teammates that I will come to like. Additionally, management
plays an important role in setting the tone for an organization's
environment. Management offers not only leadership but support for
the staff as well. If it is not operating effectively, the staff will
ultimately suffer from lowered morale. The other thing I look for
is growth potential, not only promotional but personal. I would like
to work for a company that promotes its employees learning new skills
and maintaining current competencies. Because IT is constantly changing,
I would like to keep my skills up to date and my marketability high.
One other thing I look for is a positive organizational culture. If
a company does not have a good working environment, it is not getting
the most from its employees each day, which will eventually take its
toll on the firm. A positive organizational culture helps to increase
employee motivation and productivity. |

| How
do you work under pressure? |
| I've found through
experience that I not only work well under pressure, but I yield some
of my best work under stressful conditions. Though my job experience
thus far has not been technological in nature, I've become familiar
and comfortable with the fast-paced conditions or real-world business. |
