Because
I understand that a career in technology entails a commitment to lifelong
learning, I'd like to pursue a graduate degree after I've complete
five years within the industry. The graduate degree would either be
a Masters of Business Administration, or a Masters of System Security.
Additionally, I plan to pursue technical certifications while I'm
employed to ensure that the breadth of my knowledge is never obsolete. |
| Professional |
I
would like to begin my career in the IT industry with a large corporation.
As I continue to do good work for this organization, I would like
to be considered for a middle-management position within three years.
It is my goal to enter the realm of upper management within ten years
with the organization. |
| Career |
Ideally,
it is my goal to stay with the same firm for as long as possible.
The recent trend seems to indicate that the days of being employed
by the same firm for decades is no longer. By being committed to keeping
my skill set current, I will be loyal to the firms for which I work,
but I'll remain marketable should the economy prove to be volatile. |
| Recreational |
I'd
like to commit to keeping my body healthy. There are countless studies
pointing to the reality that a sound body is better able to deal with
stress, tires less quickly, and performs at an increased level of
efficiency. |
| Personal |
Within
my first five years within the IT industry, I'd like to purchase a
home. Having a piece of real estate lends itself to feelings of security
and may open the door to the option of starting a family. |
