| "The Road" |
| The road we often travel is not the best way to go So many of us are lost that it makes our spirits low. We know not where to turn and who will help us through We just keep on going cause that's all we know to do. We wonder as we go Where did I go wrong? And for that life we used to have We wish, and we long. At what point in my journey did I make a big mistake that now all my actions and expressions make me seem like such a fake? Where did all the people go that used to be with me? They are on a better path and it's them I long to see. How do I get back to them and turn my life around? How do I explain to them the darkness I have found? I want to see the light again and all the friends I lost. I realize how much I hurt them and how much of my life it cost. I finally realized where I went wrond. Now I can start over and sing a brand new song. That road that so many take is not the best way to go. Please listen and believe me You can trust me, I know.
