| "The Same Prayer" |
| Most of everybody knows who we are talkin about when we talk of Cassie Bernall. She took a stand for her faith that I don't even know that I would have done! She was a very brave young lady who dearly loved the Lord and showed the world. This poem is in memory of her, Cassie Bernall.... |
| I never knew you, Although, I turn on the TV, and you're always there. We both come from different places. Yes, both say the same prayer. The answer to your prayer has come, For you now walk with the Lord. All the pain you know is numb, In the battle of life, you've laid down your sword. You are such an inspiration to me, I honor how you stood up and believed. I look at your picture and myself is what I will see, For Christ is my Savior, Whom I have also received. I can only wish when I die it will be for Him Who gave me life. You have already accomplished this. You have left a world of sin and strife, You are a person the world shall miss. Cassie, people will never forget your story. We'll always remember your great proclamation of faith. And know you're still alive in glory.
