Ann Maullin

I live in the Hunter Valley in NSW surrounded by vineyards. I love to make my own textiles and these usually end up as a doll or a hat. I love to machine embroider, felt and dye my own fabrics. I also love to teach other dollmakers techniques for embellishing or creating their own textiles for a doll. I have taught felting and dollmaking all over Australia and was also lucky enough to travel to Pennsylvania and Texas in the USA in 2001 to teach dollmaking and feltmaking.
BR> I love to learn new techniques and am continually updating my textile skills. I have taken classes with many local and overseas tutors. I also love going to doll club and have made some wonderful friends through local clubs and over the internet. I hope to catch up with old friends and meet new ones at the next Doll-O-Rama. I love the camaraderie of these meetings and the sheer talent of Aussie and New Zealander dollmakers.
