I am married with grown up children. We live on a 'hobby farm' where I am able to keep my large four legged family. Five cats, two dogs and six goats. I got into doll making when my children were very young. Dolls then were mostly 'raggedies' and clowns. The early eighties saw me hooked on porcelain doll making where I stayed as a teacher for ten years.

Love of 'rag' dolls stayed with me and when the first cloth doll patterns became available I wanted to by them all. At one of the doll shows I was fortunate enough to meet Shirley Dougan, who got me hooked on sculpting. I enjoy designing dolls using different mediums. Most of my dolly friends also know that I am golly crazy. Any shape, size or colour, I just can't resist them!
