Maxine Gallagher

I have been designing dolls for six years, and now enjoy teaching. I attend workshops given by other designers whenever possible as there is always something new to learn. Doll Making for me incorporates all that I love - being creative with fabric, colour, pencils, and design. Doll making is a journey of discovery and I find great pleasure in helping others along the way. I was cloth Doll Artist in Vol. 6 No. 1 of Australian Dolls and Bears (Feb. 1999) and I was thrilled that "Balthazar" was Judges Choice (Joy Martin) at Millennium Madness 2000.
