| Robrovski Hamsters x14. Smallest of all hamster breeds, also nicknamed 'bullet' hamsters on account of their amazing speed. |

| This is Squeaker. She is the runt from our first litter of hamsters. We were given two 'girl' hamsters, and after they produced fourteen babies we had a strange inkling that one of them may not have been a girl after all.... Squeaker got her name from being the loudest of all six babies, as she always was left out of feeding time being the smallest. We liked her, so we kept her (along with her sister). |

| This is 'daddy', or fatbum as he has more affectionately become known by me on account of his quite enormous backside (for a hamster). He is a quiet little critter, very gentle and docile, except when around females so it would appear. He is naturally now in his own tank. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The second litter in all their glory. These creatures seem determined to remove themselves from your hands by any means available to them, six feet drops don't faze them. There appears to be a runt in every litter which in this case is the one on the far right, looking the wrong way. There are three males and four females in this litter. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| One of the third litter at four weeks old. At this age they are running about and feeding themselves, so the mother, called squirt, just has to clean up after them. How well she does it shows when they are separated from her, both the first and the second litters couldn't go for one day without making a complete mess of themselves. They are almost as big as her now so will need to be separated before the young males get any ideas, however it is almost impossible to tell what sex they are until around six weeks. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Two very beautiful young ladies. Leanne and Squeaker get along very well with each other, officially Squeaker is hers but of course I'm the eejit who has to look after them all (the hamsters, not Leanne!). I think they have an understanding, both being small and cute and they can use that to get their way in just about anything (why do you think she got to keep the hamsters?!). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Having had roughly 47 squillion hamsters in the flat for six months, I was becoming a little tired of looking after them. Following a concerted drive to disperse them the the four corners of Scotland, homes have eventually been found for all of them except Squirt, Fatbum, and one of the girls from the third litter who has been affectionately called 'Titch the Turbonutter', on account of her small size and astonishing speed when I get anywhere near her (not unlike Leanne then). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Fatbum balancing precariously on Grum's hand. He is exactly the opposite of all his kids, fairly lethargic and slow. The gerbils just ignore him, I expected them to consume him as a sort of appetizer. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
