Urine Odor Eliminator
Of all the recipies on this page, the 'Urine Odor Eliminator' is the recipe that my mom uses the most.  She created this recipe about two years ago...because the smell of dog urine in the summer was awful especially when it was very humid or after it had rained.
It's easy, inexpensive and works fairly well. Best of all there are no really nasty chemicals, such as bleach, to be absorbed through my pads.
In a 2 - 2 1/2 gal sprinkling can...
Fill 1/2 way with HOT tap water.
Add 1/4 cup Oxy Clean (or its Store Brand equlivant)
Add 1/4 cup Baking Soda
Stir until Oxy Clean and Baking Soda are disolved.
Fill can the rest of the way with cold water and add a squirt of dish washing liquid (about 1 TBS). Stir
Sprinkle the areas of high concentration generously with this mixture. It may take a couple of applications to completely oxidize the urine in the soil.
Then maintain by regularly 'hitting the hot spots' (areas most frequently used). Mother nature can take care of the less favorite spots.
Mom usually does this 2-3 times a week to keep odor under control.
