Well, I guess this is the page where I tell you all about my trips to the doggy doctor and tests and results ... things like that. First let me start by saying I'm a healthy boy. Nothing seriously wrong with me except my tendancy to annoy my mom at the worst possible moments. Then, she says I won't live to see my next birthday...but I know better. ;o)
Well, I guess I'll start at the beginning...which is my birth date. That would be 11/30/00
Eyes: The first test I had done was when I was 9 months old. I had my eyes examined. Everything was "Normal" but I didn't get a number because no one sent in the paper. Then when I was 1 1/2 they sent a sample of my DNA to the people at OptiGen...they said I was Pattern/Genotype A1 CERF was done this past spring and my eyes were Normal. This time I got a Number: PW-4595/2004--04
Hips: Just after I turned two years old my mom took me to see my doggy doctor. They turned me up side down on a table and held me down while the doctor took pictures of my hips. The pictures were awful... barely readable! I can't believe she paid for them. A couple of months later we went to another doctor down in SW Ohio. He was a funny doctor...I liked him. He put me on the table and whispered in my ear. Then he turned me upside down in a big plastic tray. He had my mom hold my front paws by my ears and he held my rear legs and they moved right and left until I was "in the center" and an assistant took the picture. I wasn't scared or upset at all because my mom got to be right there with me and the x-rays were beautiful! OFA evaluation: Hips Excellent O.F.A. number PW-3405E28M-PI

Elbows: My mom also had the nice doctor in SW Ohio take pictures of my elbows. She didn't send them in because she was short of money at the time. She intended to send them in later but never did. They are in the closet upstairs (along with the terrible hip x-rays from my regular doggy doctor) just incase anybody ever wanted to see them.

GM1: Finally, the gangliosidosis test. Another trip to the doctor...more blood and needles. I hate needles! GM1 results: Normal I'm glad this was the last test. Except for my regular visit to the doggy doctor for my yearly check up and my annual Thyroid test and CBC blood pannel...No more needles!
For the record (since this is the health page) this years Thyroid and CBC were both normal.
