"  aea!" Analissa called to her friend. The pair raced through the Forest, laughing as the blurred green shapes flew by. The woman chased after Gaea, running as fast as she could to catch up with the adolescents swift gallop. A swift wind blew through the Forest, bringing up the dead leaves from the ground and chilling Analissa to the bone. Suddenly Gaea stopped, and Analissa slowed to a walk, panting hard and curious why Gaea was so still. Leaning on a tree, she saw a great white Air dragon looking at them, a wood elf standing before it.
"Hello, Gaea. Analissa." Lynmari, for they both recongized her as the Dragon-Carrier, nodded at them both in turn. Silently she pulled the crystal from around her neck and held it to Gaea's green scales. The change began immediately. A paler green rippled out from the spot where the crystal touched. Slowly it reached out, changing the dark green fringe to a bright orange, showing orange dotted along the hindquarters. This magic enlarged her wings, lengthened her neck, changed her clawed feet to paws. Her ears shortened and turned fringe-like. Finally, like a finishing touch, her eyes glowed bright, and turned yellow as the sun. She didn't just look spring anymore. She was Spring. Analissa cried out, for she knew what this meant. "Oh, Gaea!" She threw her arms around the neck of the Earth dragon. Then, in turn, she hugged Lynmari, who simply became rigid in surprise. Gaea leaned her head down, and looked eye-to-eye with Analissa. Tears in her eyes, the proud guardian whispered "We can do it, Gaea. We can save this place. Together."
