Listed as single and a general farm laborer living in his parents' household in the 1930 Federal Census, Dark Corner, Oconee, GA.
This branch of the Doggetts moved to Morgan County, GA around 1933-1934. F.A. Doggett list listed on the tax rolls in 1934 in District 284 (Harris), and Ivor Copelan-Doggett indicates that they lived between Fair Play and Rutledge, across the road from the Copelans, and this is when she met her future husband, Augustus Durward Doggett; F.A and A.D. Doggett are listed there in 1935; in 1936 the Doggetts moved on to Walton County, where some of them lived until death; in 1937 and 1938 Doggitt Brothers are listed in District 283 (Whitfield, probably Rutledge); Augustus Durward Doggett had an auto repair shop in Rutledge which later went to Henry Burchael Doggett, and in 1939 Burchael is the only Doggett on the tax rolls in Morgan County; The assets of Freddie Augustus Doggett were usually over $2,000. 7

He suffered a heart attack while delivering newspapers on his route. His daughter Dale was with him, and they drove home. His wife drove him to DeKalb General Hospital, his daughter accompanying them, and he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Death occurred on 29 Oct. 1967, cause (myocardial infarction) given by Dr. Manuel Arteme, family physician, on 31 Oct. 1967, and submitted to registrar's office 2 Nov. 1967; certificate issued 9 Nov. 1967 by T. O. Vinson, Registrar. 2
