Assignment 5, Part 1: Coffee Sites Comparison
From comparing the two similar, yet different websites, we learn the importance of delivery. It is not just the design, but also the layout, fonts, colors and basic netiquette that counts.
The original site has an obscure background that swallows the descriptions. With all different background color on each page, it has no unity. Confusion can be caused due to the missing ��Home�� link. The layout of the choices on the test page does not have indentation, which cause difficulties in comprehension if you are not careful. The existence of other sites should have been checked and the sites themselves should have been inspected for interesting contents.
All these problems are solved in the newly edited site. The links to all pages on every page is identical, lessening confusion. The white space is well applied, making it easier on the eye. All the pages have uniform background color, and the listing of the test has been sorted out into comprehendible organization. The centered quotes are much more straightforward as quotes.
We can see that it is not just about uploading the information on the net. To provide good sources, you need to have good layout and design, as well as content. This is the mind of a ��netizen�� who considers the viewers.
