Catch was all about art and style and having fun. I had a lot of fun working for this publication and there were very few parts of it I didn't have my hands on, from finding new artists to writing and photography and laying it out and getting it printed.
The Czars Labrea Tar pits of Routine CD

Interesting color photography obtained from NASA, as well as some manipulation of images by photographer Dave Zimmer. The CD itself contains the photo of the band superimposed in russian text, creating a gunmetal look.
Graph X Files, "Confidential" Issue

GXF was a magazine for graphic artists at US West Dex. The point was to show tips and tricks in software and workflow to keep our people up to date and thinking outside the box. Each issue was a little different. This was the "confidential" issue, an homage to "detective" magazines and the pulp culture.

The "Tabloid"issue of GXF and our most popular. The idea was to seal the look of tabloids like the "weekly world news" and others to create a fun and collectable issue. It worked. I also wrote an article on digital photography for this one.
Women In Cable TV Newsletter

A redesign from a dreary two color publication with no graphics. The editors wanted an edgier sexier look for this dynamic publication that covers women's issues in the fast paced cable TV culture. This project is ongoing.

My second Czars CD. The Czars music has an ethereal otherworldly feel sometimes and I wanted to capture that. I used images I shot in cemetaries around Paris.
DNA Magazine

One of my new projects, DNA promotes the art scene before the shows open. Limited run color covers and black and white content inside. This is a magazine on a tight budget.
