I've never done art to please someone else, always for myself. And I'm a harsh critic. But I can now say "I'm an artist" and feel proud to say so. I could not do that as a youth. I see the role of the artist as a storyteller, a shaman, and a soothsayer. I hope that when I spin a tale, my audience finds the truth, inspiration, or magic I speak to . And if you don't well that's ok too because I certainly don't have all the answers.

So I invite your criticisms, critiques and comments on my work and its meanings and interpretations for discussion.
