PROFILE :
Development of Christian Community (DOCC Ministry) is purely working for the illiterate Christian people. We are providing free education and Bible study to the people who don’t even read and write their names or the people who has a desire to be educated but cannot afford the educational expenses.

The poor christian people are facing lot of problems. These people are so innocent. They love JESUS CHRIST but they don’t have proper knowledge of their religion (Christianity) because they are unable to read Holy Bible. They are like the sheeps who are in search of their shepard. Other Pakistani communities make fun of them by showing different dramas and plays in which the Christian people are shown as sweepers, cleaners and janitors. Moreover people from other religions forces them to change their religion if they want to be rich and respectable persons.

DOCC Ministry started its Community Training Work in 2004 in a single room in the area named Mariam Colony of Lahore. Most of the poor community living in this area are janitors. Females are also doing the sanitarian work in different schools, offices and houses; they are also stitching in their houses to earn some money to meet their daily needs. After that DOCC purchased a land and built a church and school by the contribution of the Pastor Rev. Uail Tariq, local community and by friends and family.

The school was started in Oct 2004 for the children of poor Christian community. The children are willing and eager to learn. DOCC Schools provides free tuition, notes books, text books, Bible story books, pencils and relevant study material free of cost.

In May, 2005 DOCC Ministry takes another step and formed another school in the village named Gohawa. The people living there are very poor and majority of them are illiterate. The people are brick kiln laborers. The result of this effort is excellent, people are very happy because their children are able to get quality education for a prosperous future.
