Haploview Test

Our Haploview test is ideal if you are new to genetic genealogy and want an overview of your deep ancestry. Our test goes beyond the basic haplogrouping offered by the Genographic project and can be taken even if your initial DNA test company was unable to predict your haplogroup.

The Haploview tests looks at 96 specific SNPs (see below) found on the Y-chromosome. Each SNP helps to define your Haplogroup and sub-group. Haplogroups are strong indicators of geographical origin and can help identify the part of the world your male ancestors came from.

The cost of our Haploview test is US$95. There is no DNA Extraction charge for this test. However, unlike our other tests, you cannot upgrade to newer test options offered by EthnoAncestry.
