A DnD campaign in the Forgotten Realms
1. Common Courtesy, dont curse at people, stuff like that. If you don, first you will be warned, then an XP penalty, then ur gone, permanently.
2. Obey the DM. What I say, goes. Don't mess with the guy who's determining hits and mises. The DM will roll all dice at him home. He is not required to show you what you rolled. He may, but don't ask. If he's not showing you, there is a good reason (If you know that you get a "2" on your Search check, you will try again because the former rolll was so low) And on top of that, I don't want to hear stuff like "Why did I only have +4 to my roll? I should have +6! When you have been secretly poisened to give you -2 to all roles. It ruines the suspence of finding out the problem.
3. Artifacts: Powerful Magic Items will be given out in this game. However, they WILL have dawbacks. The most common drawback will be the fact that the main artifacts in the game (The Nine Blades of Anon-dain) need to be blessed in a specific pace before all of there powers are unlocked. Also, alignment is important because all 9 blades have an alignment and will give negative levels to any user not of that type. Allright? Good.
4. Now for questing. If you want to do somehting, first read the opening to the campaign for where you start. From there you can just role-play wth either me or another DM (whom I approve of) and do and quests that come up. This questing can go on either on the message board in the campaign board, or in a chat room.
