THE PASSION OF JESUS CHRIST
The Passion is the story of Jesus' arrest trial and suffering, and ends with the crucitixion
Starts with the events in the Garden of Gethsemane, although some start with the Last Supper, or even Palm Sunday.
The Passion is a story about injustrice, doubt, fear, pain, and ultimately, degarding death. Jesus suffered these for the forgiveness of our sins.
The perfect example of suffering, another is incarnation -the death of Jesus shows humanity, and that Jesus as God, was willing to undergo human suffering. Another is obedience-despite initial and very human reluctance and fear, He obeys His father.

Elements of the Passion
Jesus appears before Pilot
Since the Jewish  authorities were not authorized to execute people, they took Jesus in front of Pontius Pilot, the Roman governor. Pilot could not find a reason to condemn Jesus, so he had Him flogged and humiliated. Scourged, and crowned with thorns along with wearing a purple cloak. Jesus stoof before the crowds, and Pilot told them he didnt' find him guilty. However, occastion had it that on the feast of Passover a prisoner was to be released. So Pilot asked the crowd. "Who do I release, Jesus, King of the Jews, or Barabbas (a murderer, and thief)?" the crowd at the encourgement of the Jewish authorities screamed "Barabbas" and Pilot released him, turning Jesus over to the crowd saying. "I am innocent of this man's blood Look to it yourselves."
