WAY OF THE CROSS
JESUS IS CONDEMNED TO DEATH

FACE OF JESUS = The woman in the
crowd were crying and one woman
came to Jesus and wiped His face.
NAILED TO THE CROSS
Then they nailed him to the cross
JESUS CARRIES THE CROSS
A wooden cross was placed on Jesus
shoulder and he had to carry it to
the Place of the Skull.

FALLS THE 2nd TIME
JESUS FALL THE 1st TIME
Under the weight of the cross,
Jesus falls for the 1st time.
THE WOMAN OF JERUSALEM:
Jesus said to the women
"Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for
yourselves, and for you children.
FROM THE CROSS
Once Jesus had died, the soldiers did not
break His bones when they saw Him, but a
soldier opened His side with the lance.
JOSEPH of Arimathea, a secret disciple of
Jesus, asked Pilot that he may bury Jesus,
since it was comng on the Sabbath.
HIS AFFLICTED MOTHER = As
Jesus was walking with the cross,
He saw His mother, Mary, his mother's sister Mary of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.
FOR THE 3rd TIME:
IN THE TOMB.
Joseph wrapped Jesus in a clean linen
and placed Him in a tomb. Then they
rolled a stone in front of it. For fear,
Pilot had soldiers watch over the tomb.
HELP JESUS CARRY HIS CROSS:
Jesus was tired, and had a long way
to go so one of the soldiers, had Simon
help Jesus carry his cross.
Once they got to Golgotha, (Place of the Skull) they stripped him of his clothes.
