My
Star Wars Dioramas
|
|
This
page consists of dioramas dedicated to Star Wars. What good
is a collection, if you can't display them in the scenes
that made them famous. I realize that the scenes below are
not exact and many of them have too many figures in too
small of an area, but this is necessary (to save room) when
you live in an apartment.

Mos Espa Bar
Note: This is the fold out Cantina
made by Hasbro that comes with the Sandtrooper.

|
Tatooine
Note: This scene is of the Scarlaac
pit and the purchase of the droids. It was made with real
sand. The cardboard in the forground is to keep the sand
from spilling out. The Scarlaac was made from Sculpy following
the guide made by NiubNiub
and is painted with watered down acrylic paint. The 2 scenes
are on a bookshelf side by side, so appear as one large
scene.

Hoth
Note: This scene is of the battle
on Hoth. The snow is the fake foam snow that you can find
during the holiday season. It is great because you can sprinkle
in on the characters....but don't sneeze. The background
is is hand painted on cardboard.

Star Destroyer
Note: This scene was made entirely
from foam core and cardboard. The stickers were designed
by NiubNiub
and is downloadable on his site. The figures are kept in
place by pegs that were glued into the foam core.

Endor
Note: This scene was made from foam
core and cardboard. Again the figures are kept in place
by pegs that were glued into the foam core. The ground has
brown and green sponges, moss, sand, and assorted twigs.
