An Aragami had taken possession of one of Momiji's best friends to infilitrate Momiji's school. After many disappearances, Momiji and Sakura (who was transferred to Momiji's school) decide to check things outs. Unfortunately for Momiji, this means that Sakura can hang around Kusanagi. When the spier-like Aragami finally appears, it takes all of Sakura and Kusanagi's powers to kill it. However, even after showing off, Sakura is still unable to outshine Momiji...
EPISODE #12: Can You Feel It!? I'm Worried! A Sense of Coming Castastrophe!!
The last episode began in a cavern under Tokyo, where Murakumo gives his report to a mysterious and unknown figure. Meanwhile, an insectoid Aragami wraps itself around a building and sheds its skin, which quickly becomes vines. It does so with two other buildings in the next few days. Kusanagi repeatedly fights Murakumo, but just cannot measure up to his enemy's fantastic powers. At the end of the episode, the three parasited buildings form a pyramid and absorb energy from a brooding thunderstorm, which fires a energy beam through the ground, into the previously seen cavern. The next day, Murakumo watches an enormous Mitama as it radiates energy, he looks satisfied with himself...
EPISODE #13: I Love You! Finally-- Confession Time!?
This is a rather funny episode, for Momiji discovers that everybody at the NLMB knows about her feelings for Kusanagi. She is even persuaded to wear panties with "I Love you Kusanagi" on it.(!!) Meanwhile, Murakumo is still in the cavern, protecting the giant Mitama. Later when the NLMB goes in the caverns to investigate after a report on disappearances near the place where the energy beam struck, Momiji's Mitama activates , sending her into a trance. This is when the team discovers that the giant Mitama contained a baby, whom Murakumo calls Sasano-O. Everybody is doubly stunned when Kaede, Momiji's twin sister, suddenly appears, takes the baby and disappears just as mysteriously...
EPISODE #14: A Chase down the Yamato Highway! Disruption of Love!!
While Kunikida stays in Tokyo, the rest of the team travels in the countryside to investigate Aragami sightings. WHat they do not know is that it is the infant Susano-O who creates the creature and that Murakumo and Keade are travelling wih him to a secluded shrine. In Tokyo, Kunikida meets a U.S government agent, who happens to be Sakura Kamazaki! Meanwhile, the team have discovered where the Aragami is and attacks it. The battle is rough for them, with Koume and Yaegashi being badly injured. Luckily, Sakura and Kunikida arrive to help. Kunikida is very worried about what the re-apparition of Susano-O could mean...
EPISODE #15: Lost and Trembling on a Trip to Michinoku.
All the NLMB team is now in full pursuit of Murakumo, Kaede and the infant Susano-O. To protect themselves, Murakumo and Kaede ask the baby to use his power to create another Aragami. Meanwhile, the team is taking some much needed R&R, with Koume getting VERY drunk and VERY chummy with Yaegashi. The next day, the team finally finds the Aragami and try another form of anti-Aragami plasma, which doesn't work well as planned. This forces into a more convention battle, with Momiji saving Kusanagi's butt and being quite remarkably efficent.
EPISODE #16: Japan is Paradise. Tears in Wakasa.
the NLMB is still in the countryside and investigates yet another Aramagi sighting, in which the victims were drained of their life force. A mysterious ghost also appears, seemingly another Aragami servant. While Kunikida and Momiji take care of that mystery, the rest of the team battles the Aragami and Kusanagi still looks for Kaede and Murakumo and infant Susano-O
EPISODE #17: Blossom, Japan! A Blizzard of Unrequited Love!!
Susano-O is getting more powerful each day and both Momiji and Kusanagi are being affected by his aura. Meanwhile, a new Aragami has been awakened, forcing Kunikida and Takeuchi to team up to investigate in the vinicity of Izumo, where they are soon joined by the rest of the team. Takeuchi realizes her love for Kunikida and Kusanagi searches for Kaede.
EPISODE #18: Jesus! Goddamn!! Sakura's Not Good Enough!?
Sakura is officially transferred to the NLMB. Her mother, a Shinto priestess who had disappeared many years ago while fighting an Aragami, suddenly reappears. SHe is now wearing a Mitama and is trying to kill Momiji to free herself. However, when she sees Sakura, she begs her daughter to kille her, so that she can, at last, truly die. After some heavy questioning, Sakura obeys...
EPISODE #19: Journey Through the Shimmering Heat. Don't Leave Me, Love!
Susano-O has created a dome of energy under which only people with Mitama's can enter. Kusanagi and Momiji go inside, only to discover that time has no meaning in there. Kusanagi sees parts of his past with Kaede and has to fight his inner demons to break out of this trap. He also has to fight an Aragami that look like cats.
EPISODE #20: I'm Back Home in Izumo! A Prologue to Hope!!
Momiji goes back to her home in Izumo to take a few days off. Even with the encouragement of Ahchan, her best friend, she finds it hard to not to worry about Kusanagi. Meanwhile, Kusanagi is still searching for Kaede and has to fight Murakumo yet again.
