  • Natalie cracks us up....

(From the Late Show with David Letterman)
David: You're still in school obviously. So how old are you... like?
Natalie: I'm fourteen....I've figured out that I've been alive as long as your show's been going on.

"I have classmates who've spent five months in Ghana doing medical research. Being Queen Amidala is like the stupidest accomplishment."

    (From Jane, Sept 1999)
"This is a crazy story: I was born on my mom's birthday, which is June 9. And my dad is an infertility expert. So one of his patients came in, and he said, "Okay, let's see what date you're due." So he looked on his computer to see when she was inseminated, and it was Sept. 17, which is my dad's birthday. He sees when it's due, June 9, which is my birthday and my mom's birthdaywhich means two things. First of all, when my dad was being born, my mom was being conceived. Obviously, this is theoretical, because days are off with pregnancies; but they're nine months apart. And I was conceived on my dad's birthday. I'm like, "Dad, I know what you got for your birthday!"

    (From UniverCity magazine)
UniverCity: The whole Phantom Menace experience must have been pretty surreal.
NP: It was a great experience. I love it because now my fans are ten year old girls and boys instead of fifty year-old men.

"You know, I've wrestled with air! There's not a lot of people who can come home from work and say that."

" In Paris I fell asleep in the movie [The Professional] cuz it was my fifth time seeing it? And I'm sitting there sleeping and the director's next to me and he says "Natalie! Wake up!" and he woke me up. And it was just before the movie was over, and so they turn on the lights and we stood up in front and everyone was applauding. And so I go like this [rubs eyes] because I just woke up, and everyone came up to me like, "Are you okay? Are you crying?" And I'm like, "No! I just woke up!"
