NATALIE PORTMAN

The actress the world now know best as Queen Amidala of the Star Wars prequel, was discovered by a scout at the age of eleven at a pizza parlor. Initially offered to do modelling, she opted for acting instead. She made her movie debut in The Professional with an extraordinary performance which earned her a Hollywood Reporter Young Star award nomination for best actress. She made her Broadway debut as Anne in The Diary of Anne Frank. Currently, she is pursuing her studies at a top Ivy League university.
