Party Extravaganza
The party we have been waiting for! Due to inclement weather, more people showed up. How does that happen?
The event, organized by Salina, was held at 10th and Willow in Hoboken. Upon arrival, a slew of people had already convened in the back room. After a few games of pool the music got louder and the place started to fill up quickly. In attendance (other than the usual crew) were Kim, Salina's friends, some really cute girl Sherisse who was paid by Bryce and Bounassi to come up to me and tell me I was the sexiest guy in the place (thanks guys), Calabrese, Parsons, Capparo, Jeff Slifer, Marangi, Erin Dionne and Bruce, Paul and his fiance, Burns, Frank Rotella, Sasha and Mark (?) and many more people who I can't recall right now as well as local party goers. The bartenders kept things moving - and I think I can say that I drank my money's worth. Played a bunch of pool and then went back to the dance floor where everyone was getting down and/or dirty. No fights or anything bad happened really - I lost my cool at one point during a heated game of pool against some locals but other than that the night went on without a hitch. A not-so-quick getaway with Bryce, Amy, Trae and Jen found us throwing snowballs at trees that just happened to move out of the way and looking at a disturbingly long line to get into the bar. We stopped off for a slice or two of comme ci comme ca pizza and made it back up north. Congrats to Cindy on her 25 and to Salina for putting it all together. A great party!
Update:
Apparently Steve got kicked out after getting slapped by a girl he was dancing with. I didn't see it, but have been told my eye witnesses of the event so I'll post it here. Fin
President's Day Weekend Special
The long weekend gave us additional opportunities to party and that is what we did. Friday night was Cindy's party which has been updated to the left. Saturday came around and I don't think I saw the light of day until 2pm or so. I was able to get my act together and got out of bed, posted this info on the board and quite honestly - I forget the rest of it. Please help me out. I think we went to the G but I honestly don't recall. Oh, yes, we did for just a few drinks. It was Snides, Fronzi, Bounassi, Amy, Bryce, Pat Crean and Danielle. We planned on going skiing (Jim Pat and I) at Mountain Creek. Snider was "more drunk than Friday" and I was ok, but tired. Some of the group moseyed back to Bryces' for an eventful evening that included a stop by, by Juan from the G. I didn't ask much more about that.
Sunday
Polombo, Bounassi and I went snowboarding - sort of. After finally getting our acts together, we took a "short-cut" to Mountain Creek. Scratched the idea after one look at the lift lines and went next door to Hidden Valley. They went snowboarding, I opted for a relaxing afternoon with Captain Morgan, the Captain Morgan girls and a few drinks with some local yokels. They finished their day and found me buzzin by the bar with a ton of Captain Morgan merchandise by my side. We went home, I ate dinner and rested for awhile.Then went to Bryce's where Cindy, Jen, Trae, Bounassi, Polombo and Amy played clack, drunk driver, poker, the guitar, other hands-on puzzles (those logs are killing me!!) and things to keep us busy. Oh, we had some beers, wine and ugh, Capt. Went home and crashed.
Monday
What a day. Snider and Megan Garbutt and I went to the G to play hangman, tic-tac-toe and drink sodas. I kid you not. We rented American Pie and Cruel Intentions (and Election) and watched them at Garb's. That was that!
