All I can say is that this weekend rocked from beginning to end. I will try to give my best account of it - but request people's additions (via email). So here goes:

Friday
After drinking up a storm on Thursday night with the entire group of batchagaloops, I vowed never to drink again. But we all know how that story goes. So, with the parents gone for 7 days or so, I decided to have a get together of sorts. Got off the train, bee lined it to the Atlantic and Pacific Tea company, got the goods and came home. Set up the food and drink stuffs, started preparing and no sign of anyone. That's fine I says to me self and wait for a call. It is Snider - wondering what the hell Amy was taking so long for. Anyway, things get into swing. Snider, Amy, Bryce, JR, Trae and  Polombo show up. Greeting them is some food, Captain Morgan's, some Vodka and beer and a hungry me. Things start in quick - Clack is back, for money of course as well as a heated game of cards between JR and Trae - also for cash. Then drinking games become an issue. Not to happen as we cannot decide on a game which gets switched to a round of Drinking Trivial Pursuit. Oh, Snider was 'on' with Clack. The food got eaten, the drinks kept getting downed and the games got abandoned. More food? Sure. Polombo and I make one damn spicy batch of nachos to top the night.

Saturday
Bryce, Snider and Amy all stayed over that night. I woke up early and made breakfast: California potatoes, scrambled eggs and english muffins (Bloody Marys, juice, etc.) We all ate, lounged by the tv for awhile and hung out doing nothing productive. Pure bliss. It felt like a Sunday with a fire in the fireplace started Friday late night that didn't end until Sunday night. People got moving and did their thing at home and got ready for Amy's birthday bash at Arturos. We met up at the restaurant late with Mara, Stiles and Merritt waiting for us all. Bryce, JR, Amy, Hooks, Pete Manke, Danielle and Ashley Evans and the other 3 were all in attendance. Dani left, the food came and we ate. Dani came back and it was time for dessert and coffee/cappachinos. Pete threatened to streak the place, we sang Happy Birthday really loud and out of tune and made everyone in the joint jealous that they werent with us. Ha! Plus we had downed about 12 or more bottles of wine by that time. The food was good although I was dissappointed with the display - or lack thereof. Not even a sprig of parsley. Whatever. After 3 cig breaks and dinner/dessert, we scattered. Some went to Mara's, some to Stiles' and some to my place. Quick drink at home and then off to Karen Carnevale's where Pat Crean, Jim, Mark, Mark's cousin and others met up with us. We arrived so wine-drunk that we looked like we arrived from a Pakistani Hash bar. Super relaxed and eyes aglazed. Just wine though. Despite the Ruffian on tap (Brown Ale and Copper), I couldn't drink it. There was, however a bottle of Captain Morgans sat half-full on the kitchen island. Now, if they knew us, it never would have been left out in the open. With one quick swipe the bottle was in someone's hands pouring 4 stiff drinks. That was the end of that. I barely finished mine and decided to call it an early night (1:30) but invited anyone back to the house. Invite them and they will come. I drop Pat off, Bryce, Mark and Amy pay a visit. We play some darts (that actually might have been earlier in the night) and relax by the fire. Everyone stayed over only to enjoy breakfast again. This time it was Snider, Amy, Hooks, Bryce, Polizzi and yours truly. We changed it up a bit. Meaning more Bloody Mary's and bacon egg and cheese sandwiches. Mmmm. Not too bad. We lounged for the rest of the day. Amy went home to become a god mother again, and we sat around with drinks watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and a director's cut of that film. Then on to golf to see Tiger catch up and then lose his chance for 7 in a row. The fire was still going stron, we all had blankets, Hooks and Bryce were in and out of sleep mode and then the crew had to mosey back home to shower or other stuff (Hooks went back to the city). So, the afternoon was freed up for a little. And I...did nothing. It was great.
Then it was time for dinner. Bryce cooked up some Soy Raviolis, I cooked up 2 London Broils (it was too tough, oh well), some brown gravy as well as some Tomato Bernaise sauce. Salads and baked potatoes abound. Mark, Jim, Chris DeGaetano, Amy, Danielle, Cindy and Snides made the rounds on over. Although I think like 3 of us ate. The dogs started farting up a storm causing everyone to gasp for air (I mean it was really bad). They were soon put to bed. What else. I guess everyone left around or by 12pm, with the exception of Jim, Snider and Cindy who stayed till 1am. I cleaned up and passed out on the couches where we had just finished another game of I Never. It was a great weekend and was psyched to have everyone over. That's all.
