Alaska 2003....Page 2
Stop 2--Skagway, Alaska.

Skagway is a little gold-rush town at the end of the Lynn Canal.  It served as a jumping off point to the White Pass and the Yukon gold fields in the late 1800's.  In it's heyday it was one of the most lawless towns in the world.
A view of Skagway from the boat.

The whole town is visible as well as the mountains behind which lead up the White Pass Trail.
God's Country...
Indeed, the most awesome, peaceful, grand, sight I've ever seen.  The Hancock glacier in Galcier Bay Alaska.  I stood speechless at this vista for quite some time.
