Look Good at Low Cost

DO: Cover up in the sun. Exposure can ultimately cause skin cancer. But, did you know UV rays also cause the collagen in the skin to break down, making the skin thinner and helping wrinkles to form.
DO: Get enough sleep. Sleep is essential for body repairs, and keeps body and soul ticking along, as they should. Dancing all night - great at the time – but has it ever felt like the best idea the next day?
DO: Quit smoking. Smoking damages the circulation to the skin, making it dull, grey and lifeless. Your hair is affected in the same way. Smoking also leads to wrinkles; especially fine lines around the mouth.
DO: Find effective ways to deal with stress (take up Han gliding, quit that job/ boyfriend/ diet, meditate, learn a craft, read, take a holiday, move out, buy a bike…). Just don't let it show in your face and posture.
DO: Keep alcohol intake to a moderate level. OK, it’s the party season but all you have to do is limit it to 14 units a week. The most important thing is to try to avoid binges, which are particularly toxic to the liver.
DO: Regular exercise will help to make your skin glow, give you beautiful poise and keep the bulge at bay. Try outdoor sports, like windsurfing, swimming, sailing, rock climbing or surfing so you don’t miss the sunny days and get a buzz at the same time.
DO: Look after your teeth and have regular check-ups at the dentist.
