Welcome to my transformation page.  This page exists so that I may keep tab of my own progress to get bigger and leaner.  Hopefully it would also be of some help to some people.

Current Phase (Updated March 15, 2004)


IMPORTANT UPDATE:  Cutting phase for 8 to 12 weeks.

 

I have accomplished my goal of gaining 27lbs from my bulking cycle and now its time to start a new cutting cycle.  This cycle will last between 8 to 12 weeks.  I'm guess this is how long it will will take me to get down to 5-6% bodyfat.  The supplements I will be using for this cycle are CLA, Xenadrine EFX, Protein Shakes, Multivitamins, and Glutamine.  I'm hoping the combination of protein shakes, multivitamins, and glutamine will help in preserving my muscles.  For my diet I will start with 1400-1600 calories a day then slowly lower it by taking out more carbohydrates each week as needed.  Workout will stay the same as it is...  Low reps and heavy weights.

 

Goals:

My goal for this 8-12 week cutting phase is to decrease my current body fat to 6% or less.  It is currently at 15%I also have to try and preserve as much muscle as possible... being careful not to go into catabolic state.

 


What's New (Updated April 5, 2004)


FINALLY BACK!!! Last week was my week off and its time to start a new routine.  It seems like every time I take a week off I feel like I get weaker.  During the week off though I've thought about my workouts and I think I got too caught up in lifting a lot of weights which was too much for me to handle so this time I am REALLY concentrating on my form and doing the whole TIME UNDER TENSION (TUT) thing... 4 seconds on the negative and 2 seconds on the positive.

 

I have also added a new section that includes my STATS.  I just want to see how much I shrink up this time but mostly I want to see how my love handles go away slowly.
