You may be wondering what this site is all about. Well, Dawn and myself (Alex) have been taking some classes in HTML and thought we would try out our new found skills by designing this site. We are students from Hull University in England (no jokes please) and part of our course is to study for a year in a foreign country. Luckily for the Americans we both picked The State University of New York (SUNY) in Albany. Now you are probably wondering what the hell this site is for......god the suspense.....
.....It's essentially for students who intend to study abroad, not just in Albany. Any of the advice given on Albany University procedures may apply to the university you have picked. We've got lots on Albany, what's offered at SUNY and also guides for what you need to do when studying anywhere in the USA. This site is here as an aid to what can be a stressful and nerve racking time. Trust us on this we are living it. We are here to make life easy for you, give you advice and tell you how it really is.
This is an important time for you, but remember to enjoy it. Sorry, had to say it, heard it sooooo many times from lecturers I needed to get it in!
We feel the need to include a get out clause for 'shiteness'. Dawn and Alex apologise in advance if something doesn't look right or basic; we either missed a computer class on how to make it look good or we're generally useless and can't do it. We again apologise for our crapness.
