Small folk, usually about six inches
in height, Gnomes are the rats of the humanoid world. In Ankh-Morpork they are also often the rat-catchers, and very familiar with the DEATH OF RATS.There are many advantages to being only six inches tall, including squeezing under doors and threw sewers. You never know what gets left down there.
The dissadvantages include having to stab someone in the foot before they'll notice you, and then usually have them try to stomp on you.
