Tall, pale and favouring long black robes in a big way, banshees are the heralds of death, traditionally standing on the roof of a place where a death is about to occur and uttering an unearthly scream. In this day and age however many banshees feel that this is a bit over the top and just send a note. Traditionally female, the species/profession can be slightly embarrassing at first if you're male, but never fear, you're part of the growing movement for equal rites for all species.
