Some word processors require that you periodically "save" what you have typed to make sure it does not get erased in case of power failure.

In the Third World, power shortage is a frequent occurrence. It is wise therefore to be always ready with a back-up system. But besides the external guarantee, one needs to develop also the personal, the internal disposition and habit to be always ready. For at the time we least expect, like a thief in the night, electricity can fail. And all you have done just disappears from the screen, forever!

Lord, without getting paranoid, let me frequently take a stock of myself and see where I stand before you. I need to re-focus my life as frequently as possible, to make sure it is not drifting away from you.
