My Home...

I am the youngest child of my family. I feel very lucky to be the youngest. Even though during my childhood I had to obey all my elders, once I was mature enough it was always a nice thing to be the youngest. Most of the time you will be getting enough support from your elders to do whatever you feel like doing.

My Father Mr. K.G. Chandrasekhara Menon and my mother P.V Sarada are leading a retired life now. My father was in Food Corporation of India and my mother was a school teacher. I have two brothers and one sister. Elder brother, Krishna Kumar P.V. is a development officer at LIC of India and is settled at Edappally, Ernakulam. Second brother, VijayaKumar P.V is having his own business at Kodungallur. My sister, Mrudula P.V is a school teacher (following the footsteps of my mother) and is settled at Paravoor, around 12 k.m away from my hometown. Even though once upon a time my house used to be very crowded with all of us being there, now, only my second brother and his family is there with my parents. And at present I am the only person who is staying this far away from all of them :-(

But still...whenever I get a leave and go to my home, once again there will be those gatherings...now, with more in number, including my sister-in-laws, brother-in-law, my nephews and niece... :-) I and my brothers will be going to kodungallur for our long night chat sessions at those aaltharas (the basements of banyan trees) of kodungallur temple.
