Torsten Janicke is one of the most excellent representatives of
the famous �Dresden School for Strings�. He attracts the attention
of a broad audience with his subtle and colorful way of playing.
His repertoire includes famous works of all epochs beside
rarely played works.

Grzegorz Olkiewicz Grzegorz Olkiewicz
Grzegorz Olkiewicz has been awarded three times
by the Polish Ministry of Culture. His international
tours led him to several European countries. He was
First Flutist in the Katowice Philharmonic Orchestra
and the Cairo Symphony Orchestra.
During his career he held many recordings for TV
and radio. Mr. Olkiewicz serves as professor and
jury member and since 1994 he is the President
of the Polish Flutist Association.

Wessam Ahmed Wessam Ahmed
The young and talented Egyptian oboist Wessam Ahmed
received his musical education in Egypt and England. He
already took part in different festivals. Among the various
national and international prizes he won is the award as the
best Egyptian oboist which he was granted twice in a row.
He played under some of the most famous conductors like
Daniel Barenboim and with soloists like Yo-yo ma.
He is also oboe teacher in the Cairo Conservatoire.

After receiving a diploma in Orchestra Conducting
from the Moscow Conservatoire Dr. Sayed Awad conducted
many Russian orchestras. Sayed Awad is presenting his
symphony "El Yarmouk" in a new abbreviated version.

Hassan Sharara Hassan Sharara
Hassan Sharara is one of the best known Egyptian violinists.
He appeared in many concert halls. Several Arab composers
dedicated their new works to him.

Mr. Petit conducted numerous orchestras in Warsaw,
New York, Bremen, Milan, Mexico, Bucarest or Seoul.
For this concert Maestro Petit - pupil of Olivier Messian
- has composed his new overture Paris-Le Caire 2000
to begin a program of all round French idiom.



Wolfgang Panhoefer Wolfgang Panhoefer
Among the musicians he worked with are Boris
Pergamenshikow, Steven Isserlis, Paul Tortelier,
William Pleeth and Ralph Kirshbaum.
Europe, Japan, India, USA or Iran are only some stations
which he toured. He made several recordings for
international TV and radio.

Ian Fountain Ian Fountain
At the age of 19 Ian Fountain became the first British and
youngest ever winner of the Arthur Rubinstein Interna -
tional Piano Masters Competition in Tel Aviv. He has per -
formed with many leading international orchestras including
the London Symphony Orchestra, the Israel Philharmonic
and Deutsches Symphonieorchester Berlin.
