Dina El-LeithyShe had been graduated from Cairo Conservatory in 1995 with distinction and joined the staff of the Conservatory. She won first prize of Supreme Cultural Council Competition in 1993 and Piano Competition held by Cairo Opera House in 1994. Wolfgang SchroederWhen he was 17 he won the first prize at the German Government Competition for young musicians. With a scholarship from the international Menuhin Music Academy, he played concerts as a soloist and a Chamber musician in many European countries and in South America. His solo career includes performances with the Czech Symphony Orchestra in Prague and with the Munich Philharmonic. An active chamber musician, Wolfgang Schroeder has been invited to various festivals. In 1993 he made his first tour as director of the European Community Chamber Orchestras. Honved Male Choir (Budapest) Soloist: Victoria Kogan, Piano Conductor: Ahmed Elsaedi Price Category B 
Honved Male ChoirThe Honved Male Choir was founded in 1948 and consists nowadays of 42 men under the direction of Andras Toth. The choir devoted its work especially to Hungarian composers as Bartok or Liszt. The choir�s recording of Bartok�s work won the Grand Prix of the Charles Cross Recording Academy in Paris. The repertoire of the choir ranges from the Gregorianum to contemporary composers. To present the performances to a bigger audience the choir toured in the recent years countries in Europe and America. 
Victoria KoganAt the age of five she started her first piano lessons. Her first public appearance on stage took place when she was eight, and since the age of thirteen she has been engaged in an intensive concert activity, touring the cities of Russia and foreign countries with solo concerts as well as with symphonic orchestras. In 1991 Victoria was awarded the 1st prize at Stravinsky International Competition for Young Musicians in the USA. Saturday 22 April 2000 8.00 p.m. A. Khairat:
Soloist: Nikolai Petrov, Piano Conductor: Ahmed Elsaedi Price Category C Nikolai Petrov Mr. Petrov is a pianist of international caliber. Being still a pupil at the Moscow Conservatoire he gave his performing debut and performed n radio for the first time. In 1969 he won his first international prize in the USA. His manifold repertoire includes some 50 recitals. According to his reputation he serves as professor at the Moscow Conservatoire and he is frequently invited to take part in the juries of international music competitions. Soloist: Eric Terwilliger, Horn Conductor: Ahmed Elsaedi Price Category C 
Eric TerwilligerAt the age of 10 Eric Terwilliger gave his first public performance. In 1976 he received his first international award for horn players. He toured Europe, USA, South America and Japan and performed as soloist together with prestigious orchestras throughout Europe. Since 1976 Eric Terwilliger is soloist at the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. According to his devotion to chamber music he is member of the Vienna Chamber Music Ensemble. Since 1994 he serves as professor at the Johannes-Gutenberg-University in Mainz / Germany. |
