Welcome to the Battle Section! Please enjoy your stay!

Battles are encountered either while walking or when scanning stuff.
The screen will flash, and the Digimon you've encountered will appear.
Now, you have three options, Battle Call, Spirit On and Escape. I'll cover Battle call first.
If you select Battle Call, you get to input a phisical code to 'Import' one of your pre-set Digimon.
To Set your Digimon, Which you must do before a battle, you go to your Digimon Database, and press B once on the Digimon you want, that will Take you to its' stats, then press B again, to get a list of your for Docks, simply select the Dock you wish to dock it, THAT will display what's in the dock, then if you press B one more time, you'll confirm your selection, and that Digimon will now be available for battle =D
How to Call a digimon is covered in Practice.
All you need to know once you've learned the scanning actions is which code calls from which Dock
(1,1) - Dock 1
(1,0) - Dock 2
(0,1) - Dock 3
(0,0) - Dock 4
Once you have your Digimon, You have 3 options. Attack, Digivolve, and Deport.
To Attack, you once again need to imput scanning codes. You can chose from 3 specific attacks, or to let your Digimon 'choose' it's own attack.
(1,1) - Energy
(1,0) - Ablity
(0,1) - Crush
(0,0) - Random
A good thing to know is the following:
Energy attacks beat Ability
Ability attacks beat Crush
Crush attacks beat Energy
If you know how powerful your Digimon's attacks are ahead of time, it may help you estimate the length of battle. By viewing their stats ahead of time, you'll know how much damage each attack can do.
Sometimes, if you're not at a high enough level, your Digimon will not obey you. If it's level it higher then yours, or a lot lower then yours, it may not listen. It's infuriating when that command would have won the battle for you.
If you decide to Digivolve, if you have that Digimon's next level up, it will Digivolve. As far as I know, only Digimon with lines shown in the Television show can Digivolve. I'm working on a list that will be added to the Digimon Database Section. Occasionally, even tho you have it's evolution your Digimon won't digivolve. I don't know why as of yet, but if anyone knows, e-mail Digital Priestess
When you Deport a Digimon, it will, well, co back to its Dock, and the Main Battle screen will re-appear.
If you Choose to Spirit Evolve, A scrolling list of your Spirits will appear, and you muct chose one of the two your player is able to use. Once You've become your spirit, you have 4 options. Attack, Digi-Power, Spirit Off, and Escape.
If you attack, You can chose to use Energy, Crush, or Ability. There's no codes to input now, but each attack takes a bit of Spirit power to accomplish.
Using Digi-Power allows you to borrow a Digimon's power to attack with. When you chose this, you must input the code for the dock you want, and that Digimon's power will be added, but it's a one turn only type thing.
If you chose Spirit off, you'll simply de-volve and be taken back to the main screen.
Escape is just that, you run away. handy if you're too busy to fight, or you're at a boss and have no Spirit power to fight.
In Battle you're given a certain amount of Call Points. Points are used to Call Digimon, Digivolve Digimon, and Deport them. As of right now, I have no clue how many are used, and how many you're given.
