Love --  Part I
(continued)

Now this brings up another important point.  You need to find a man that is done.  Forget all those half-baked guys, that just need a womans touch to finish them.  Forget about fixing a man, or changing him.  If hes in his late 20s or older, he is what he is.  If hes a slob and likes to throw his socks on the floor, you got three choices:

1. Get used to it, and throw yours in a show of solidarity.
2. Pick them up already and be done with it.
3. Dump him and look for someone who is a might bit tidier in the housecleaning department.

I once heard that one way to decide if he was a keeper was to ask yourself  Would you want to have this mans children if they turned out exactly like him.  Imagine little clones running around -- all him and no you.  If the answer is Yeah, sure, then youre doing okay.  If the answer is Well, only if the were more ______________ and less ____________, then stop and reevaluate.

(For more concrete information and tools to help make your list and evaluate the men and decisions you have made in your life, read Are You The One For Me by Barbara DeAngeles.  This book is great.)
