Catherine took part
in a group exhibition in 2003 with two of her friends Felicity and Vanessa.
During the early 1980s,
fresh out of school, Monkee Manson went out into the dark night of Islington.
He watched the Critics at the Criterion, and formed a punk band that played
at many parties, and got kicked out of many places.
They were the first Newcastle punk band to have a record out. Read their story

Things
grew serious.
The Hipslingers were part of a virtually unknown Australian indie musical
landscape of the 1980s.
They existed for a time making their own music, meeting people and playing
all over the place.

broke up (and down), I got a job working in the Lake Macquarie Library system
in the early nineties.
One night a girl came into Charlestown Library with a very strange story.

though Mortlake in England chasing the remains of John Dee's House and his
angels, it dawned on me that Mortlake was very much like Mayfield.

multifaith movement began in the Hunter Region on 29th October, 1989 when
the Newcastle Baha'i Community held the first local Interfaith Service at
the Newcastle City Hall.
