Infantry formed the backbone of the Canadian Armed Forces during World War II. Their main weapons included the Lee-Enfield Rifle, Bren Light Machine Gun, Browning Pistol, and Sten Gun.
LEE-ENFIELD RIFLE
The Lee-Enfield was the standard rifle carried by the Canadian infantry		 BREN GUN
The Bren gun was used in rifle sections and on Universal (Bren Gun) Carriers
OWEN MG
The Owen Gun was from Australia and sparingly used by Canadians
