Whether you happened to find it by accident or were encouraged, cajoled or otherwise referred by someone you know -- thanks for visiting this website! For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by cameras and photography and I am delighted to share these photographs from my Scottish Collection with you. The earliest dates back to about 1959 and was taken with a Kodak Brownie 127. The others are more recent and have been arranged to give you a sort of "tour" of the areas of Scotland most familiar to me.First, we spend some time in the vicinity of the Campsies - the hills just to the north of Glasgow. After that, we head east to the Cairngorm Mountains and Lochnagar. Next, it's a brief visit to Loch Lomondside then up via Glencoe and Ben Nevis to the West Highlands near Eilean Donan Castle and Plockton. Then, after a quick look at the Isle of Skye, it's down to the Islands of Mull and Iona. Finally we cross over to Oban and down to the Clyde where our journey ends. You can either take the complete photographic "tour" or pick individual scenes from the index. I have also given a brief description of each area which can be accessed by clicking the appropriate heading in the index. Bon voyage! |
