What would you do when you feel bored ? Perhaps mostly
people in the world are wasting their time with chatting each
other to reduce their boreness. As development of technology,
people do not need to meet directly with their friend. Now,
there are many social sites in internet. Many examples for this
social site, such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Friendster,
Edmodo, and so on. These sites can we use by free. We only do
connect to internet, and go to that site. After that, we do
register or make an account, eventually we get the account. But,
this social internet has many effects to the society, to the
economic side, and also to the development of children.
In the first place, we are talking about effect of the
society. This can be positive effect or even negative effect.
The positive effect is cheap. We do not need to waste our money
for it, we only pay for the internet connection. Fortunately, if
we use WiFi connection. We only do register to get the
connection. Another positive effect is we do not need to meet
directly the person. It means that, we can save our money and
our time. Besides, there are negative effects as well. For
example, maybe that person whos doing chat with us do a lie. We
do not know whether he/she is honest or lie when do chat with
us, because we can not see their face.
On the other side, after we have talked about effect of
the society, now, we are talking about effect of the economic
side. As same as society effect, this effect has positive and
negative effect. Firstly, we talk about positive one. Example
for positive effect, we can advertise our business or product.
As we know, social site have many visitors. So, if we do
advertise to that social site, surely many people can see our
advertisement. Pay cheap for the advertisement is also the
positive side. However, this also create the negative effect.
Example is fraund activity. When someone do create an
advertisement into the social site. The advertisement contents
good quality of the product. But when people buy that product,
the quality is not good as the product advertisement. It can be
called as fraund. To anticipate this fraund, we should check
firstly whether this kind of product or something is good or
not. If we already tricked by that product, we can report to the
Police department. They can solve this problem and catch the
do-er.
Thirdly, we mention about the development of children.
Mostly the effect is coming from negative side. Say for example,
wrong �content�. Many social sites or even all of sites in the
world is containing content that not suitable with the children.
Pornography, criminality, violence are example for it.
As far as i am concerned, we may use the social site
for interacting each other. But we should remember the negative
effect. Therefore, use the social site properly and keep our
children in order to make they do not consume the negative one.
