He becoming interested in performing when he was in sixth grade, and was asked to be an "M.C" for the evening, which he loved being in the spotlight, and having a great sense of control over his audience.

First thing he did after graduating from High School was to audition for the theme park Opreyland, USA and did a season for them in Nashville, Tennesse. From there he worked in Chicago for ten years, and then eleven years in New York before coming to the UK three years ago.

He recently won "Best Actor in a Musical" at the Laurence Oliviers Awards for his role in Jerry Springer - The Opera, which has opened many doors for him career-wise, such as his role in "Holby City" as a Plastic Surgeon called Carlos Fashola.

He has a score of famous stars as fans in the likes of Glen Close and Bea Arthur.

In his spare time he enjoys painting as a relaxation device and playing with his two Devon Rex Cats, Leon and Gizzy.
