4-19-01, Quick update, for everyone who is against the music played on mtv's TRL there is a campaign going on to try and change it... at least for a day. it seems that lil miss teen-queen mandy more made a snied remark to the fact that travis from blink-182 was in the aquabats... this is not right, you cant dis the bats especially if all you are is an untallented piece of corporate machinery who has probably never picked up a pen to write a song, let alone a guitar. so the plan is thus: we, as in everyone, will bombard mtv's severs with e-mails telling them that we want to see the aquabats' video superrad on trl as compensation for what ms. moore had to say. we need to make our voices heard, we shall not stand silently and continue to let a once great television station be ruined by 12 year old girls and coorperate fatcats. please, even if you aren't a fan of the aquabats, or ska music in general, or even if you detest mtv outright (which i do) we must band together to try and make a change, for good music everywhere, maybe we can increase the ammount of good music that is aired on that station. viva la revelution
4-17-01, um, did i say every tuesday? well i get some lienience since i was on spring break... right? ok, so lisa came down last sunday, we went to disneyland with david last monday where i desperately tried to be expelled from the park to no avial. i threw ketchup packets on verious rides, turned a flashlight on during space mountain, and even buckled my seat belt behind me on star tours and ran around the ride screaming "we're all gonna die" ala aaron barrett, but it was kinda fun. tuesday we went out to lunch with amy and her friend who's name i forget, we had jappanese food, then we went to her friends apartment where they played rayman for a bit and then we went to pick up david and proceeded to block where we met up with alicia and hung out some more and as i type this i realize this was wednsday and i cant remember what we did tuesday, i think we watched a movie at my house, after the block we went to the house of blues and saw save ferris play an ok set, it wasn't great or nothin, though i still love em, i just hate the house of blues so that might have had something to do with it... oh yeah and there was a mosh pit which is retarded casue it was a SAVE FERRIS show. after that we drove by milano music where vince was still there so we talked to him for a bit and i showed him the bucket i stole from the HOB. thursday i woke up far too early and started calling around for places to get insurance got lisa up, left around one to go get insurance didn't leave till four, got home and found a handy list of chores my aunt left me and didn't leave the house for nor-cal till 6:15 we got to moo-town at 11:30 where i pretty much crashed, friday i woke up very early again and had to go get registration done on my car which also took far too long, had to do some more chores around my other house, called bj around 9ish and went to his house, went to look for jesse and marcus, found them at laser quest, left back to bj's, where we waited for andria and her friend so we could go bowling, went to the bowling alley and left cause bowling's dumb anyway, went to mr. t's and chilled for a while, then we drove off and went home. saturday woke up at 5:45 and left my house around 6 back to so-cal, took my car with us, got here around 2. chilled with my litte bro and sis, went to dinner at denny's (ridiculous) came back crashed 5 minites after snl started... i missed weekend update! slept till 4 in the morning when i went to my room to finish sleeping. hung out a lil more with my siblings till around 2 when they left for san diego. chilled alone in the house for the rest of the night. monday went to anthro, got home sat around till i could get a hold of my uncle's friend so he could go with me to get the rest of my iunsurance done went back home, sat around drove to in-n-out, ate, sat around and my aunt and uncle got home... two days earlier than i thought... so i had to help them unload their stuff, clean the house cause i had a nice lil mess going and promptly fell asleep right after friends was over. slept alot today, came to school and remembered i was supposed to do two eassys for english over the break, i have till thursday to do em, but i'm sittin here jackin around on the comp insted, so goes my life. |
