| 4-3-01, wehehell, what an intersesting set of events... actually not really all that interesting, but i did have some fun this weekend. on thursday lisa brought herself and barret and lisa gonzales down with her, lisa g. had to jet as soon as they arrived, but other lisa barret and i went to san burnardino to see zebrahead at some nightclub called gothem, we almost got lost cause i was a dumbass and trusted tourdates.com's little button that said "map" to give me the venue, but all it did was send me to the very center of SB, and we almost made it there had lisa not realized the problem, so we actually made it to the show right as zebrahead was going on, which was ok, cause usually opening acts suck anyway, they rocked, we rolled, got home watched a lil tv and me and barret crashed on the floor while princess lisa got to sleep more comfortably on the couched up futon (i'm not bitter, i always want guests to sleep more comfortably, it's just funnier saying it the way i did) friday we all got up late, went to pick up david and alex, drove to milano, hung out with vince (who is awesome by the way), went to the HOB, met up with aaron from reel big fish for a sec, saw dance hall crashers, loved it, went to alicia's, slept, then i woke up much too early and bitched about it cause i would have rather gone home and been able to sleep better and get a shower and have gone to the up syndrome video shoot, and so we like went to huntington beach, and jacked around, i was toally bored and pissed, then lisa jason alicia and david went to nickle nickle while alex barret and i waited in the car, we went to the show and me and barret waited in line whilst everyone else got to hang, got in saw psoma, who were pretty good, counterfit, who were ok, up syndrome, who are always fun though their fans are a bit annoying, tsunami bomb who were rad, cept i kept getting sucked into the pit, and nerf hearder, who were excelent... we didn't stick around to see longfellow, two times were enough for me... actually, i didn't like them the first time, the second time was just putting spakle on the nails that were allready drivin deep into the coffin. after the show we (lisa, alex, david, barret, and this girl alegra) chilled at denny's where i spent my last 2 dollers on a bagel, and waited for some rock stars to show up, aaron barrett was ther with his lovely girlfriend dianna, the lead singer from nerf hearder was with them, and two other people i didn't know. we chatted for a bit, chris from up syndrome showed up and we chatted some more, and then left with plans to steal the dork street sign in whittier, but after dropping people off we all just crashed, which was good cause we all lost an hour of sleep due to day lights savings crap. then we (lisa barret and i) crammed into the car, picked up lisa gonzales, went to bionic, came back to my house, packed everyone up and they all drove off to leave me all my lonesome. good times, just wish they diddn't have to end, but lisa'll be back this weekend for spring break, so that'll be cool, i just hope my art teacher'll let me get an extension on my museum report, i cant get lower than a B... cant get lower than a B |
