I stood all alone in the corner
But then you came along,
With your warmth and your sense of humor You made me feel loved.
You dragged me out of my corner And you taught me how to laugh,
You helped me up when I was down You gave meaning to my life.
And after a while, I began to love you so,
Just dreading the day That you'd have to go.
But that day just has to come 'Coz you're loved by one and all.
I'd be selfish to pull you down And keep you from standing tall.
The time has come for you to go; Forget this lonely mourner;
Now you're standing with all your friends, While I stand alone in the
