  The Necropolis police are decicated to the highest ideals of service and dedication. To this end, all officers of the department from traffic officer to SCU are expected to conduct themself in a clean, personable, proffessional manner. Furthermore, there are a set of rules that must be followed as proccedure by all.
   Gerneral conduct
1. All officers of the Necropolis police department must be citizens of the U.S. with no prior felony record.

2.  Officers of the NPD must all complete or have completed academy training prior to being accepted into the NPD.

3. All officers are required to carry their firearm and badge at all times. Any crime commited in the person of an officer is to be dealt with according to normal proccedure, even during supossed off hours.

4. Those who are accepted into the police department of the city of necropolis are authorized to carry out the proccedures of law enforcement within the charter of the city of Necropolis.

.  All officers of the Necropolis Police Department must follow the rules governing all city employees. The must be registered with the city and as civil servants, accept the rule by vote or administration of the city government in all matters concerning policy. This includes the enforcing of city ordanices, local laws and emergency provisions taken by the city council and the mayor in time of crisis.
Grounds for Discipline
  There are other things that an officer of the department can do that will cause him/her to be disciplined. The nature of the offense often will determine the nature of said disciplinary action. The possible punishments range from literary discipline, up to and including arrest and prosecution. The following is a list of some of the punishable offenses.
1.  Taking bribes

Abuse of Power

Extortion

Tampering with evidence

Conduct unbecoming an officer

Interfering with an investigation

Substance addiction

Excessive use of force

9. 
Insubordination

Failure to report a crime witnessed. (Accessory to a crime after the fact)

11. Fraternization within the officer's unit.
