ARIZONA DREAM
The Hopi Shaman casts his magic spell
He penetrates the malaise where we dwell
He knows our Arizona dream quite well:
A bunch of Heaven with a lot less Hell
Will it all come true? Only time will tell

... Naqoyqatsi ... life in transition
Koyaanisqatsi ... life out of balance
Powaqqatsi ... life in transformation
BELOVED

She is Poet. Hear her roar, ...
In words, too artful to ignore.

Faithful Chronicler of the Past?
Mirror Holder to the Present?

Prism of Light on the Future?
Does effort count, ... or only results?

Reveler in simple, even childish delights.
Persistent Struggler with Inner Demons.

Caught between Flower smiles by day
and Starlight, bright against night sky.

She is Poet. Hear her sigh, ...
in moans too mournful to decry.
THE COLORS OF OUR FLAGS

Nurture the child.
Bury the dead.
In shades of white
and blue and red.

Embrace each day.
Fear not the night.
In hues of blue
and red and white.

Tend your gardens,
both old and new.
Brushstrokes of red
and white and blue.
